About Letra Muerta Publishing

Projects are developed with an emphasis on works in translation and multilingual content, with special attention to typography and cultural awareness. This catalog was conceived as a teaching resource for institutions that host our books, readers, and collectors to have a broader understanding of our ethos and the work we do.

Technical Aspects

The binding opens flat while stapled within a square spine with a centerfold poster. Each color was "mixed" digitally for each type of paper, taking into account the transparency of the toners.  All the years within a decade are visible at the edge of each section. Ten different types of paper were used to create a visual and chromatic timeline. The font used was Spline Mono and Inge by Fer Cozzi. Seven different covers were made. Digitally printed on an XEROX, and handbound in Brooklyn at Letra Muerta Inc studio in 2025.
